Despite going down to Kiama in both games on the weekend, the boys can be reasonably happy with their effort. I know it sounds like a broken record, but with so many of senior players missing it really is a case of men against boys; and whilst the Club is getting run over most weeks, especially by the stronger teams, you can’t help but be proud of their effort. 

Special thanks to everyone the helped out during the day including those the spent time on the BBQ and great to see plenty of people stick around after the game. It’s never easy this time of the year, particularly when you have a lot of injuries and you know you probably won’t be taking part in the finals. 

Still that’s what being a part of a Club is all about. Just a quick reminder the 43rh Annual WHOOA Cup is only a few weeks away (AUG17th), so make sure you get your rigs ready and organise any babysitters etc. 

This week the Club has another bye, so let’s make the most of the spare weekend so that  we can finish the year off with everyone that is fit and healthy available. 

Finally, if you are not doing anything on Sunday, OUR Juniors have 6 games of footy starting with the U/9’s at 9am. It’s a big day out for the Club, so don your favourite footy teams attire and come on down and support the future of our great Club.
