Another tough day out against good opposition saw the Tigers battle really hard, but try as they did, they just couldn’t build any scoreboard pressure in the cold windy conditions. 

I guess it doesn’t help when you have a lot of key player unavailable, but with that unlikely to change anytime soon, it has at least given some of our younger players more exposure in premier division which can only benefit the Club as we move forward.  

On a positive note, Division 1 (Ressies) took on the Lions with 4 less players on the bench and came away with a hard fought win in a low scoring game. Special mention to Craig Emmerson who filled in kicking a vital goal in his first ever game.

 On a disappointing note, I’m sad to say, Emma Dowse’s season has come to an end after rupturing her knee. Emma has been a revelation this year and will be huge loss. I’m sure you will all join me in wishing her a speedy recovery and best wishes along the way.

Despite the terrible weather and a couple of losses, I was super impressed with the roll up back at the pub and I would just like to acknowledge and thank Belinda & Simone in particular for her efforts both on the field and with the strapping etc.
