Well done on the weekend guys. Despite the absence of a number of key players from all 3 teams, both the Men’s & Women’s Premier Division teams recorded good wins, whilst Division 1 played well but couldn’t quite get the job done.
Another good roll up on Saturday night ensured the 4th Annual Black & Gold Ball was once again a resounding success. Special thanks to Simone & Emily for organising the night and to Cathy Russell for coming along and helping capture the night on film. Also a huge round of appreciation to our DJ ‘Petals’for supplying the music both at the BBC then back at the clubrooms until the wee hours.
This weekend presents a number of challenges for the Club with Artie Smith hosting the Junior REP Carnival on Friday (6pm – 9pm) Saturday (9am – 5pm) and Sunday 9am -2pm) and all 3 Senior teams playing in Wollongong. With the Club currently experiencing one of it’e worst run of injuries and a number of players unavailable for reasons various, we are really looking for everyone to step up and make themselves available to play or help out in the canteen, especially on Saturday.
The Club is looking at providing a 25 seater bus (at this stage) to the game with a few quiet refreshments on the way home, so please let BT & Barnesy know if you can play.
