A huge crowd was on hand to witness our first night games under the new prestige lighting at ASO on Saturday 4th May. All three grades played the experienced Wollongong Bulldogs in tough, wet and muddy conditions. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs were too strong in all three grades but not before some very tightly contested match ups.
The afternoon began with a minutes silence as a tribute to victims of gender based violence in a sign of the clubs stand on Domestic Violence.
Two special milestones were also celebrated on the day with Kate Phillips playing her 50th game for the women and Andrew Ellis playing a remarkable 200 games. Congratulations Kate & Andy.
Thank you to Cathy Russell from Team Shot Studios and Fred Tyler for capturing our first night game in the following images.
